Dear Water Skiers,

It’s hard to believe that summer is just around the corner. Lake Lanier Water Ski Camp is making plans for a great 2008 season. We hope that you will be part of our fun!

We want to thank you for making our 2007 season so successful.

The camp format will be the same as last year. We would like you to have the students at the lake house by 9:15 and pick them up at 3:30. You should avoid the heavy traffic on 400 during these times. We will help you form carpools by giving out the names of students coming in your session. We are going to add the extra $55 gas fee again this year because of the extremely high gasoline prices. The total for tuition this year will be $550.

During most of the sessions we will be running two boats. We have the 2003 Ski Nautique and the 2000 Pro Air Nautique. Both of these great boats have a tower and are made for nine passengers. We will use the Sea Doo on Friday afternoons. We have the equipment to help you do your very best—from the novice skier and wakeboarder to the competition skier and wakeboarder. All we need is YOU!!!

We have torn down our lake cabin that we have loved for 40 years and are building a new lake home for our whole family that will become Sheila and Carey’s permanent home. It should be completed in May. The terrace level will become our new Ski Camp room. You are going to be surprised because the whole lot looks so different! It is going to be wonderful!

Kelly and Scott and their three girls: Cailen, almost fifteen, Courtney, almost twelve, and Brenley, almost ten will be helping with ski camp as well as being students. Mattison and Carolyn and their three boys: Mattison, almost nine, Noah, almost seven, and John, five will also be a part of ski camp. Barron and Katy are expecting a baby in August! We are so excited over this new baby: our seventh grandchild! We have truly been blessed by the Lord with our precious family!

We do have job openings for older college students who love children and are competent in boating and skiing skills. Please remember that we do give private lessons after ski camp for adults and children. Barron is usually the instructor. Each of you that came to camp last year can see your picture on our website (www.waterskicamp.net).

Enclosed is our brochure and application form. Please let us hear from you soon. You are our best advertisement! We really appreciate all of you that have told your friends about Lake Lanier Water Ski Camp! Remember there is a $125 discount for the one that gets a group of six to come to the same session. We hope we get to work with you this summer learning many new water skiing and wakeboarding skills. It really is fun!!

                                                                        Sincerely,
